A popular European salami snack is about to enter the UK market with the help of an innovative campaign that encourages British men to spend more time touching their testicles. The UK distributors of ffinch’s Mini Meaty Munchies are hoping to bounce their product straight into pubs, bars and shops by backing a new drive to raise awareness of testicular cancer. Bounce Your Balls For Cancer is a nationwide campaign that raises awareness of testicular cancer by getting people to do daft things on Space Hoppers. Mini Meaty Munchies is sponsoring the launch of the Bounce Your Balls campaign during the Food & Drink Expo 2008 at the NEC in April. The aim is to keep a space hopper bouncing non-stop throughout the four day event with the help of different celebrities, supporters and testicular cancer survivors. In addition, one penny from every pack of ffinch’s Mini Meaty Munchies will be donated to some of the national charities that support the Bounce Your Balls campaign. Marcus Mitchell, the managing director of Konect Distribution, the UK distributor of ffinch’s Mini Meaty Munchies said: “Bounce Your Balls For Cancer is such a fantastic campaign that we want to do everything we can to make it a big success. In the process, we hope to increase consumer awareness of ffinch’s Mini Meaty Munchies and start to develop a loyal following for the brand.Glen Poole, the founder of the Bounce Your Balls testicular cancer campaign said:“I’m really excited about our new partnership with ffinch’s Mini Meaty Munchies. We’re both trying to reach a young, male audience and if we can get more men to bounce their balls for cancer on a regular basis and sell more salami at the same time, then everyone’s a winner.”Ffinch’s Mini Meaty Munchies are 100% natural, come in Original and Spicy flavour and retail for around 99p per packet.
